Sander Marques has served as CTO of Kinetic since co-founding the company in June of 2021. He previously served as Principal Engineer
at Velodyne Lidar, where he was responsible for all mechanical and electrical prototype system design for the company’s Vella division. His earlier experience includes serving as System Engineer at Mapper, Powertrain Controls Engineer at Obsidian Motorsport Group, Lead Calibration Engineer at Obsidian Motorsport Group, and Lead Calibration Engineer at Custom Performance Engineering. Marques studied mechanical engineering at the University of Maryland prior to leaving to pursue entrepreneurship at Obsidian Motorsport Group.
