Sander Mar­ques has served as CTO of Kinet­ic since co-found­ing the com­pa­ny in June of 2021. He pre­vi­ous­ly served as Prin­ci­pal Engineer 

at Velo­dyne Lidar, where he was respon­si­ble for all mechan­i­cal and elec­tri­cal pro­to­type sys­tem design for the company’s Vel­la divi­sion. His ear­li­er expe­ri­ence includes serv­ing as Sys­tem Engi­neer at Map­per, Pow­er­train Con­trols Engi­neer at Obsid­i­an Motor­sport Group, Lead Cal­i­bra­tion Engi­neer at Obsid­i­an Motor­sport Group, and Lead Cal­i­bra­tion Engi­neer at Cus­tom Per­for­mance Engi­neer­ing. Mar­ques stud­ied mechan­i­cal engi­neer­ing at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Mary­land pri­or to leav­ing to pur­sue entre­pre­neur­ship at Obsid­i­an Motor­sport Group.
